(1) Is it necessary for a real good music to have a story behind it, for the sake of gaining popularity ?

(2) If yes, do you really think the popularity will be long lasting ?

(3) Do you really think what matters is only 'Popularity', irrespective of controversial or not ?

As far as I think, it is only the confidence in your music that makes it popular. A fake story may or may not be a catalyst, but what takes your music on top of charts is the ultimate melody behind it. When I shall be sitting the next 10 minutes only for a music. My priority should be a positive hit in my eardrums, rather than a negative one in my eyes.
